The ROR Story

The ROR story begins in 2002 when Patrick Day, whose mother was Russian, took a missions trip to Russia with Sierra Bible Church. He fell in love with the children and wished to work with others in the church community to help these Russian orphans. He took numerous trips to Russia during the next few years and eventually started to pull together a team of people who started meeting on a monthly basis to discuss ways they could help. In April of 2008 this group became a non-profit corporation called Russian Orphan Rescue, Inc.  Today there are 7 Directors on the Board and a number of other volunteers.
